PAGE  Page  PAGE 2 of 2 SINGAPORE TOURISM BOARD’S FILM IN SINGAPORE! SCHEME FACTSHEET Launched on 21 May 2004, the Film in Singapore! Scheme (FSS) is aimed at encouraging leading international filmmakers and broadcasters to shoot and produce quality movies and television programmes in Singapore. The objective of the scheme is to drive greater awareness of Singapore as a destination with international audiences through the entertainment media. Backed by a S$10 million fund, the scheme subsidises up to 50 per cent of the qualifying expenses incurred by international film companies during their shoots in Singapore. STB assists by facilitating the on-ground logistics requirements and application for filming permits, working closely with the relevant government agencies and industry partners.
