About the Coursewill lead to a minor award at NFQ Level 5 in Fruit and Vegetable Production. GardenDesignContent:e course is divided between classroomlectures (20%) and studio drawing (80%). A wide range of draing (hand-drawing)exercises will be covered. Students will beintroduced to graphic techniques used inlandscape plans – site survey, master plan,planting plan and sections. e principles and elements of gardendesign will be explained and explored. Students will dra a garden designproposal for a given site. Please note additional time will need to beset aside for completing drawings at homeand each student is required to have theirown ‘drawing equipment’.
