Defendants Tamer Abuaita a/k/a Tamer Abu Aita and Barbara Abuaita hold title to the property. Plaintiff Irene Ramos Guerra, who is Barbara Abuaita’s mother and Tamer Abuaita’s mother-in-law, has lived in the home and made most of the monthly mortgage payments on the property for nearly 18 years. Ms. Guerra claims that she took up residence in the home in 2002 and entered into a verbal lease-purchase agreement with her daughter and son-in-law.
