Intuit's TurboTax Makes it Easy to Claim Tax RebateSeniors, Veterans and Low-income Taxpayers Must File 2007 Return to Receive Stimulus Payment HARLEM, N.Y. – Feb. 29, 2008 – Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU), participating in a tax assistance event with New York Congressman Charles Rangel, today announced the availability of a free, simplified online tax form to help an estimated 23 million Americans, including seniors, veterans and low-income earners, easily file to receive their tax rebates. The simplified, 1040A form is meant for those who had at least $3,000 in earned income in 2007, but who would not otherwise be required to file a return. The form can be prepared online through the TurboTax Free File offering at www.taxfreedom.com, beginning mid-March. In addition, Intuit Chief Executive Officer Brad Smith unveiled a new, free online tax rebate calculator available at www.taxfreedom.com.
