October 2016 Arts, Māori and Pacific Information Services Libraries and Learning Services 19th-20th Century individual Māori woodcarvers and their known works by Roger Neich This bibliography was compiled by the late Dr Roger Neich, who worked as Curator of Ethnology at the Auckland War Memorial Museum from 1986 to 2009. Dr Neich, a distinguished anthropologist who specialised in Māori and Pacific art was also appointed as Professor of Anthropology at the University of Auckland in the year 2000.
