Founded in 1997 by Marc Randolph and Reed Hastings, the company has grown as one of the largest global entertainment distribution services. Netflix now partners with many consumer electronics companies to offer streaming services on various Internet-connected devices, such as tablets and smartphones, and has recently introduced their own exclusive content.
