Students, working in teams, will undertake their ownqualitative study about how Canadians have coped with the COVID-19 pandemic via: 1) pursuing ‘creature comforts’ in the way ofpet adoption (or fostering), gardening, DIY projects/inventions and 2) used (and not) such pursuits to connect to others (e.g., virtualcommunities). Via relevant materials (e.g., readings), students will learn about the epistemology, execution and ethics of qualititativeresearch methods.
