Wise County Appraisal District 2021-2022 Reappraisal Plan Page 1 Wise County Appraisal District 2021-20221 Reappraisal Plan (REVISED MARCH 2022) INTRODUCTION Scope of Responsibility The Wise County Appraisal District has prepared and published this reappraisal plan and appraisal report to provide our citizens and taxpayers and Board of Directors with a better understanding of the district’s responsibilities and activities. This report has several parts a general introduction and then, several sections describing the appraisal effort by the appraisal district. The Wise County Appraisal District (CAD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas created effective January 1, 1980. The provisions of the Texas Property Tax Code govern the legal, statutory, and administrative requirements of the appraisal district.
